What is Vintage Jewelry:

Vintage jewelry is over 20 years old, and less than 100 years old. Some pieces include maker's marks, hallmarks, or other identifying information about their origin, which we provide in the product listing. If they do have these marks, we provide that information in the product listing. We always test and verify gold purity. 

What is Antique Jewelry:

Antique jewelry is over 100 years old. As with vintage jewelry, some pieces may include maker's marks or hallmarks, which we include in the product listing. We also test and verify the gold purity of every piece.

What is Estate Jewelry:

Estate jewelry is simply pre-owned jewelry. The term "Estate" doesn't relate to the age of the piece, as it can be vintage, antique, or neither. We include any available maker's marks or hallmarks in the product listing and always test and verify gold purity.

What is Custom Made-to-Order Jewelry:

This jewelry is either adapted from existing components to create a one-of-a-kind piece or completely created to a client’s specification. Custom-made jewelry can include:

  • Pieces that combine new and vintage or antique solid gold components and/or gemstones to create an “old meets new” design

  • Vintage- or antique-inspired pieces that are made new and customized

  • Modified vintage or antique solid gold pieces that are made more wearable or functional
