A vibrant vintage rose 14K natural Amber pendant from the Soviet Union, hallmarked with a hammer and sickle in a star for the assay office and '583' for 14K gold. This hallmark pre-dates 1995. This gold was known for its use of copper in the alloy with the gold which gives it a characteristic rosy hue. The organic matter preserved in the amber is particularly beautiful in texture and catches the light. Measures 1.7 inch long x 1.3 inch wide. Weighs 7.4 grams. In very good preowned vintage condition with a couple very small chips that aren't very noticeable.
