Wonderful Antique 18K and silver approx 1.6 ctw old mine, peruzzi, and old cut diamond, .75 ctw unheated Burma ruby, and .38 ctw emerald 4-point brooch. All natural gemstones and all appear original to the pin. The rubies are especially high quality and have lots of vibrancy and are cushion cuts. The antique diamonds are mostly old mine cuts with chunky crowns and visible culets to the naked eye, and are quite bright in color despite being close backed set. Also some peruzzi cuts and other wonky old cuts. Clarity ranges VS-I.
Brooch mostly made of silver, with 18K gold pin, as well as yellow gold prong work and closed backs for the rubies and emerald to enhance their color. Pin back is secure. Easy to hang brooch from a chain by threading it through the pin back with point facing up. Measures 29.6 x 29.8 mm. Weighs 8.6 grams. In very good preowned condition, some minor wear to stones aligned with age.
