A vintage and highly functional leather jewelry box covered with vibrant red leather and matched red fabric interior, and gold details. Has an intact interior tray with 4 sections. Does not come with a key.
Measures 7 and 7/8 inch long x 5 and 7/8 inch wide x 2 and 7/8 inch tall when closed. Top tray is removed to reveal a lower compartment. Lined with original fabric which is in very good condition throughout (no noticeable fading or damage, just a few pin holes which I presume are from storing stick pins of brooches). Leather surfaces are super soft and smooth. Exterior of the box and leather wrapping of the tray are in worn preowned condition with some areas of discoloration and tears. In some areas the wood underneath the leather shows. Hallmarked Italy. Listing for the box only, other pieces shown as examples.
