One of the most beautiful antique pieces we’ve ever had in the collection for offer. This Antique yellow 14K domed statement pendant with a chunky curb chain border and approx over 4 ctw old mine cut and rose cut diamonds accentuated by vibrant blue enamel found in London is an absolute treasure. Set with 21 chunky old mine cut diamonds with high crowns, and additional rose cut diamonds to fill the smaller spaces with additional diamonds set inside the bale. Diamonds have very minimal wear, as this piece seems to have been very well cared for over the years. The stones are very fiery and have a ton of character with their romantic sparkle and chunky crowns, with some grey coloring as is normal with closed backed old mine cut diamonds in antique settings.
Our stone carat weight is a best approximation based on stone measurement. The reality is that the total diamond carat weight is most likely somewhere between 4-5 ctw or more, as we'd need to remove stones from their settings to get an accurate reading on their depth.
Blue enamel is a vibrant royal blue in very good condition overall with some minor wear towards the bottom of the star setting.
Weighs over 13.2 grams
Measures just over 1.5 inch long and just over 1 and 1/8 inch widest. Hallmarked 14K on back, which is otherwise plain and not engraved.
