An old stunner of a ring from the mid to late 1800s. Absolutely gorgeous Antique yellow 18K and silver topped approx 2.5 ctw emerald and rose cut diamond ring, size 6.75. Sizable up or down with .33 ctw rose cut diamonds.
A really beautiful ring with signs of wear akin to age, beautiful patina, and so much workmanship on display from the engraving on the band to the fine metalwork to hold all of the various rose cut diamonds around the emerald. Natural vibrant emerald has surface reaching inclusions and some chips from wear predominantly on one corner, and measures 9.5 x 8.4 mm with some beautiful transparency alongside some inclusions that almost give it an ombre effect in certain lighting conditions. Diamonds all appear original, and show signs of wear and age including some chips and cracks but secure in their settings. Ring measures 22.2mm wide, weighs over 6.1 grams.
