It’s safe to say this is one of the best, most charming and unique pendants I’ve ever found, a truly gorgeously crafted Antique yellow 19K gnome pendant set with approx .27 ctw diamond and .15 ctw emerald. This piece is heavily detailed, from the expression of the gnome and the deep carving, to the expression of his pose (he seems to be weighing the merits of the gorgeous antique old European cut diamond in one hand, and the amazingly vibrant and clear natural old cut emerald in the other) — even the heels of his shoes are carved on the bottom!
Fabulous in detail and in craftsmanship, the pendant is totally solid gold testing between 18K and 22K gold and has a beautifully rich yellow patina. Pendant measures 26.4 mm long x 19.2 mm widest, including a bale opening over 4.6 mm. The diamond is a high color (approx I) and clarity (VS2) stone measuring 4.1 x 4.1 x 2.5 mm, approx .27 ctw and is bezel set. The natural emerald is vibrant green with no visible inclusions and a fancy old cut which is a really intriguing hybrid between an old mine and square cut with a visible open culet, measuring 3 x 3 x 2.8mm, approx .15 ctw.
