A really beautifully made and preserved antique 9K gold watch key set with a vivid turquoise cabochon on one side, and beautiful floral engraving on both sides. Full set of British hallmarks on back including .375 for 9K gold, anchor for Birmingham assay office, and a lower case t corresponding to the year 1893. Measures 1.5 inch long x .5 inch across. A charming piece of wearable history. It seems to have a ball inside that serves as a rattle and makes a little sound, which is believed to be functional as someone could shake their pocket to find where it was when they needed to wind their watch! In good preowned condition.
