Vintage circa 1950s incredible yellow 14K gold and diamond zipper inspired lariat tassel necklace. Gorgeous woven link punctuates with a lariat drop, with scalloped gold twist detail set with 3 high quality round cut diamonds approx .11 ctw, and 2 gold balls and tassels. Chain measures 16.5 inches long not including the 2.7 inch fixed lariat drop, chain 6.3mm wide. Foldover clasp makes it easy to take on and off from the back. While this looks somewhat like a functional zipper it is not, but the design references are very reminiscent of the iconic VCA Zip necklaces that debuted in the same decade.
