A fantastic solid construction oval link rich continuous (no clasp) Vintage French yellow 18K gold oval link curb chain likely by Rolling et Cie, 37 inch. It is hallmarked with the French eagle mark for 18K gold many times, every 15 links or so. One link holds the eagle mark as well as a worn maker's stamp clearly with an R and the faint outlines of a figure which is likely to be that of French maker Rolling et Cie. A bold yet classic 18K chain with softly worn links that drape so well. Color of gold is yellow with some additional slightly rosy caramel hue as is common with French 18K vintage gold. Measures 5.3 mm wide, weighs a heavy 80.4 grams.
In very good vintage condition aside from one test mark (pictured) on a single link which we have not filled in so as to maintain the consistent color and patina of the chain. Buyer can request this free of charge.
