A vintage hand painted Japanese covered dish of a striped fish. This is so cute! A clever design, where the front half of the fish serves as a lid that opens to reveal a compartment perfect for storing some jewelry pieces.
Measures 4.25 inch long x 3.5 inch wide x 1.5 inch deep, not counting the little fish's side fin that protrudes another .5 inch from the top of the dish. Hallmarked for Japan. In very good preowned condition.
