Vintage yellow 14K capped Jade hand with pearl in the palm charm

A striking Vintage yellow 14K capped Jade hand with pearl in the palm charm. Such an elegant carving. The idiom —”A pearl in one’s palm”— originally appeared in a poem by Fu Xuan (傅玄) in the Jin dynasty (265 – 420), which described a lost love (cited from the world of Chinese website). Jade origin and treatment unknown but really love the color variation in the stone. Measures 41.4 mm long including bale x 11.2mm widest, and bale opening is 4.6mm. In very good preowned condition, one tiny chip on pointer finger I didn’t see until I took a video with 4x magnification (not noticeable from a reasonable distance). Weighs over 3.8 grams. Hallmarked.
