A truly charming large Vintage yellow 14K gold star set ruby and sapphire picture holder orb locket. I originally found this without a bale for hanging on a chain, and I added a large 14K gold bale with a 8.5 mm opening so it can be worn on any chain.
Has 3 individual frames that fold out and can hold up to 6 photos. Takes a little practice to close the orb - the trick is to make sure it closes on top of the 2 little 14K gold side tabs - once closed properly the orb it hinges and easily snaps closed into an angled catch at the top of the frame. So adorable and special! Has 6 star set rubies and 4 star set sapphires. Measures 1.75 inch long and 1 and 3/8 inch across. Weighs 24.5 grams.
