Oh this one is so beautiful! Vintage yellow 14K over 7ctw natural ruby pendant/brooch, and it is an especially nice size! I love the shape of this heart which is less curved at the top, thickly constructed and slightly puffy. To me it makes the shape a little unexpected and a little more edgy even though the rubies are a mix of shades of pink to pink/red. The stone setting work is very well done, nice and tight settings with the ruby stones sitting flush and tight to each other. It’s set with over 7 carats of rubies and all are in very good vintage condition aside from 1 on the edge which has a chip seen under 10x magnification (really not noticeable given there are over 100 stones on this heart!)
Measures 1.13 inch long x 1.15 inch, weighs over 14.3 grams. Hook on back allows you to connect onto a chain link or to thread a chain under to wear as a necklace. Also has a pin to be worn as a brooch.
