Positively obsessed with this Vintage yellow 18K gold and red enamel lock and key pendant. The shape is striking and it is so sturdy and filled with beautiful details front and back. Red (associated with love and passion) guilloche enamel on the front and back is in very good condition with no meaningful wear. This enamel work is emphasizing radiating lines from the center, and around the keyhole from the front. The key across the lock is such a nice touch emphasizing “holding the key” to someone’s love signified by the lock. The key does not move from its position and the lock does not open.
Measures 24.8 x 16.2mm. Weighs 3.5 grams. Bail opening 4.9mm. In very good preowned condition, nothing meaningful to note. Hallmarked.
