A beautiful and vibrant Vintage yellow 18K gold plique a jour enamel heart pendant in blue and yellow inside a 18K frame. Plique a jour is a fired glass enamel associated often with French jewelry but this skilled technique has been used in jewelry from other geographies (this pendant is Italian).
Measures 26.8 x 16.5mm, glass enamel in good condition, some visible bubbles which are inherent to the firing of the glass, and some color variation at the bottom which we suspect is original. Weighs 3.7 grams. Bail opening 6.5 mm. Hallmarked.
