A fun Vintage 9K British made matches box pendant that opens with many fake matches still intact. Paint is worn but still readable and adds to its character. The box does slide open and closed but I worried about damaging the matches so I haven’t re-closed it (it looks cool like this). A conversation starter! Usually when these charms are found they do not have the matches inside or just one or two. This one is full!
Measures 18 mm long with bale x 18.8 mm wide when box is closed, with box open as shown it is 24 mm wide. Weighs 4.43 g. Hallmarked '9' and '375' for 9K gold. In very good preowned vintage condition outside of the wear on the matches label.
**Can replace current bale with a larger 10K gold one before shipping if requested since the current one is really only usable on a thin chain as shown. If desired please add this request to your order notes.
